Further Easing of Restrictions

As restrictions continue to ease, Denbighshire Leisure will soon be making further changes to allow customers more access to activities within our leisure centres.

From Saturday 7th August, we will be making more spaces available in our fitness suite, swimming, play and fitness class sessions, making it easier for customers and members to access their favourite sessions and classes.

Restrictions on the use of facilities such as showers and changing areas will also be lifted.

Soft play sessions and birthday parties will resume from 7th August.

Group bookings for all weather pitches and sports hall will still require additional information for Track and Trace.

To keep customers and staff safe, face coverings will still be required and we will continue to provide extra sanitising stations around the centres.  Current booking arrangements will stay for the time being, in order for us to meet our Track and Trace responsibilities, and we will continue with enhanced cleaning of touch points within facilities.

We are currently making arrangements to resume our full swimming lesson programme, including Splash, Wave 1 and 2 lessons from 6th September. We will shortly start contacting parents of children on the pre-Covid swimming lesson programme to confirm lesson days, times and re-start dates.   Parents will be able to spectate at swimming sessions and lessons, provided masks are worn.

We fully encourage customers to take responsibility for sanitising certain areas before and after use.  This includes fitness suite equipment, changing room benches/cubicles and class equipment.

When visiting our gyms, leisure centres, swimming pools and attractions, you will need to wear a face covering in reception areas, changing rooms, toilets and circulation areas. You won’t need to wear one while you are exercising in the gym, taking part in a class, swimming or within Nova Play or the Ninja TAG arenas.
