I originally came to Denbighshire Leisure on a short term, part time contract but very quickly knew I had found something pretty unique and special. So, when the Financial Controller position came up I jumped at the opportunity! Now, after almost 6 months in my full time post I can honestly say I have never worked with such an inspirational team and am so excited to be part of an incredible future with Denbighshire Leisure.
As PA to Jamie, our MD, I have been extremely privileged to be part of Denbighshire Leisure’s journey from the very beginning, and it really has been an exciting and fulfilling experience. Of course there have been challenges along the way, but meeting them head on and overcoming them has made our achievements even more satisfying. I have loved being part of Jamie’s team, with his vision, energy and enthusiasm for everything leisure, I feel lucky to be able to say I look forward to coming to work every day.
I have spent the last 10 years of my career working within the private sector in some very well-known companies, but none of these compare to Denbighshire Leisure Ltd. This is truly an innovative and forward thinking company, with a team that never stands still. The determination and the support given from Jamie our MD is inspiring and is unparalleled in any place I’ve ever worked.
