Foundations Framework
The Foundations Framework Wales is a good practice guide for all enablers across Wales involved in organising, promoting and delivering physical and sporting activities for children aged 3–11 years, in school extra-curricular, community and grassroots settings.
The Framework has been co-created by National Governing Bodies of Sport, Local Authorities, Sport Partnerships, Play Wales, Early Years Wales, wider national sporting partners, and Sport Wales, it’s all about one shared goal: Giving every child in Wales the best possible start in physical activity and sport.
Whether you’re planning sessions, leading them, or supporting those who do — this Framework is your go-to tool for building confidence, fun and lifelong healthy habits.
Find out more, and get involved by accessing the framework here: www.sport.wales/foundations
