Staff Premium Membership

As an employee of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, you qualify for our Staff Premium Membership. This means you will receive a Staff Premium Membership for £20 per month/no joining fee. Staff Premium includes unlimited access to fitness suites, group exercise classes (including Club Cycle) and public swimming sessions.

There’s no long term contract – memberships are payable on a month by month basis via standing order, therefore no commitment is required.

To apply, you need to complete and submit the following form: and your application will then be dealt with by our Membership team.


  • To qualify, staff (contracted or casual) must have been employed by the company for three months or more. Casual staff must also have completed at least one shift within the previous three months.

Staff with existing memberships can transfer to the discounted membership, provided they meet all of the above criteria. If a member of staff leaves Denbighshire Leisure’s employ or does not continue to meet the required criteria, we will contact them to advise that membership fees will revert to full price.  At this point they will be given the option to cancel.

Food & Beverage discount

Denbighshire Leisure staff are entitled to use our discounted staff menu whilst on shift. You will find these in the site offices.


CSSC is a not-for-profit organisation and is available to all employees. The cost is £4.50 per month and can be paid individually by Direct Debit.

With CSSC Sports and Leisure, you can access:

  • Free entry to CADW sites for the member and their family (2 adults, 3 children)
  • Free entry to over 300 English Heritage sites for the member and their family (2 adults, 6 children)
  • Free Digital Tastecard – providing 50% off or two-for-ones on over 6500 restaurants.

Welsh Hospital Association

Welsh Hospitals Association (WHA) are a not for profit organisation which operates a range of low cost healthcare schemes to help its members with the everyday cost of staying healthy, e.g. dentist, optician, physiotherapist. You can agree to have a set amount deducted from your salary on a monthly basis which will provide cover for yourself or for you and your spouse or partner. WHA members can claim cash benefits for optical care, dental treatment, physiotherapy, osteopathy, maternity for example. In addition, there are cash benefits for each day spent in hospital as an inpatient or an outpatient and children under the age of 18 are covered by some of the benefits for no extra cost.

Arriva Bus Travel Club

The Arriva bus Employers Travel Club provides staff with the opportunity to save money on their bus journeys. Staff can choose to purchase either a discounted annual ticket or a discounted seasonal ticket and then pay monthly.

DCC Car Leasing Scheme

Fancy a shiny new car?  DCC’s Car Leasing Scheme offers the hire of the car, routine servicing, repair costs covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, road fund tax, insurance and road side assistance for an agreed fixed monthly payment.

Salary Sacrifice schemes

Salary Sacrifice is a fantastic way for you to save by forgoing a portion of your salary (which becomes exempt from National Insurance and Tax) meaning you are then provided with a great non-cash benefit.

Cycle to Work from Cycle Solutions

Salary Sacrifice Shared Cost Additional Voluntary Contributions (SSSCAVC) Scheme

Want to improve your pension benefits when you retire?
