Leadership Award

This award recognises an individual who inspires people, and supports others to be their best.This person doesn’t have to be a supervisor/manager currently, they’ll be someone you feel youcan turn to, someone who you feel supported by, who is approachable and guides you.

Most Recognised Employee Award

This award recognises an individual who delivers exceptional customer service, either to the public or to colleagues. They continuously receive praise and positive feedback from others.

Living by Our Values

This award recognises an individual who lives and breathes our values (Ambition & Growth, Excellence & Resilience, Trust & Integrity, Pride & Passion). They give 100%, they’re loyal to their colleagues and the company, they support their team. If Denbighshire Leisure Ltd was a person, it’d be them!

Team Player Award

This award recognises an individual who makes team work, dream work. They support their colleagues and are willing to help others at all times. This is someone who is great at communicating with others, shows willingness to help others, pitches in to get the job done to a high standard, is like the glue that keeps the team together.

Going the Extra Mile Award

This award recognises an individual who goes over and above what’s expected of them. They are considerate and thoughtful of others, show a desire to help others, take responsibility for problems and want to find solutions.

Positive Impact Award – Team and Individual

This award recognises an individual or team who has had a positive impact on the Company, over the past 2 years. They might have made a significant impact on DLL’s reputation, or brought in new processes that transformed how we operate/the customer experience, or had a great idea that’s led to team/site/Company success.

Lifetime Achievement Award (DLL Executive Team to nominate)

This award recognises an individual (past or present) who has had a significant impact on the Company, over the past 10 years. This award is nominated for by the Executive Team and is our way of showing our gratitude to a person, who has contributed to the Company becoming what it is today.

The Awards Ceremony

The Shortlisting Panel (made up of a mixture of Executives, Board Members, and Staff members) will select the winners and runner-ups for each category during April. 19th May is the big night – the Our People Awards night! This will be a night to remember, a red carpet event being held at Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, with drinks on arrival, entertainment throughout, and an after party in 1891.

You’re all invited!

Those shortlisted for an award will also be invited for a drinks reception and buffet before the Awards start.
We are really excited to be able to host a night focused on you, our amazing staff, and we’d love to see you there for the big night!
