Denbighshire Leisure Ltd will be lighting up its attractions in support of the incredible care given by hospices to families suffering nationwide.

Hospice Care Week, which runs from Monday 04th- 08th October, celebrates the service provided by dedicated hospice staff and volunteers, in supporting individuals and families, at a time when they need it most.

Ruthin Craft Centre, Rhyl Sky Tower, Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, 1891 Restaurant and Bar, the Events Arena waterfall and Denbighshire coastal bus shelters will all be illuminated green across four days in support of this vital work.

Hospice care aims to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of adults and children with a life-limiting or terminal condition. It helps people live as fully and as well as they can to the end of their lives, however long that may be.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd said “We are extremely grateful to the many hospice staff and volunteers across the country, who dedicate their careers to improving the quality of life and wellbeing of all those with life-limiting or terminal conditions.

“At Denbighshire Leisure Ltd we are proud to light up our attractions in recognition of Hospice Care Week and to help raise awareness of the outstanding dedication that goes into caring for individuals and their families at the end of life.”
