Denbighshire Leisure Ltd will be lighting Rhyl Promenade in yellow over the bank holiday weekend in support of the RNLI’s ‘Mayday’ campaign.

‘Mayday’, which will run throughout the month of May, is the RNLI’s main fundraising campaign and aims to raise vital funds to keep the lifesaving lifeboat service running.

Last year the local Rhyl lifeboat crew launched 66 times rescuing 119 people.

The Skytower, Pavilion Theatre and promenade bus shelters will be lit in yellow matching the RNLI crews’ famous yellow wellies.
