DLL attractions lit up in red to support Poppy Appeal and mark Remembrance day
DLL (Denbighshire Leisure Ltd) will be lighting buildings in red between 27th October and 13th November, in support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal and to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Members of the DLL executive team will also be laying wreaths in towns across Denbighshire, in honour of those who lost their lives defending and protecting our country.
Ruthin Craft Centre, Rhyl Sky Tower, Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, 1891 Restaurant and Bar, the Events Arena waterfall, and Denbighshire coastal shelters will all be lighting up in red from 27th October in support of the Poppy Appeal and will continue to be lit over the weekend 9th/10th November, as countries across the world remember those who have served them during war, conflict and peace. This year DLL’s social media channels will also include a new poppy icon in honour of those who lost their lives.
Every year as a nation, the British public honour the Armed Forces and their families from Britain and the Commonwealth, and Remembrance Day services are held all over the country ensure that their contribution is never forgotten.
