DLL has announced the next phase of its investment into Club Rhyl, with ‘Box 12’ a first in Wales fitness experience.

Aiming to revolutionise club members’ fitness experience, Box 12 is coming to Club Rhyl in February 2025.  Box 12 is a brand new, dynamic, boxing inspired workout space, which will provide a high intensity workout, combining functional training with the buzz of boxing.

Another ‘first in Wales’ for DLL, this fantastic jump-in, circuit based workout is powered by virtual coaching screens and offers a comprehensive fitness experience for members of all fitness levels and ages.  Box 12 delivers results through high intensity, skilled based training through the power of its innovative technology.

Alongside this exciting new studio, in spring, DLL will be introducing power assisted exercise technology to its customers.  Innerva Toning Tables are the ultimate experience for customers looking to improve their muscular strength, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, but who require a low impact workout.  With no weight stacks to control, toning tables are ideal for all ages and abilities, particularly those who don’t feel ready for a full gym environment.  Group sessions will give customers the opportunity to exercise in a friendly, social environment.

On the back of its success at X20 St Asaph, Club Rhyl members will also be able to take their HIIT training to the next level, with arrival at Rhyl this February of Studio X.  This specially designed space is perfect for High Intensity Interval Training, incorporating body weight exercises and state of the art Technogym equipment!  This will be complemented by a brand new cardio area, with a fantastic range of Excite Live equipment including the very latest ‘Skillups’.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of DLL, said: “We have been thrilled with the feedback on the first phase of the Club Rhyl development, which included the groundbreaking Studio 360 and Refuel station, and the next phase will see even more truly innovative activities coming to Club Rhyl, taking customers’ fitness experience to a whole new level.  In addition to delivering the very best facilities for our customers, we are confident these investments will secure the future of Club Rhyl for many years to come.”

Following on from the recent launch of a hugely successful new junior fitness experience in Prestatyn Leisure and Club Rhyl being recognised as one of the best clubs in the UK at the recent UK Active Awards, DLL is again bucking national trends and continuing to invest in its leisure facilities.

Over the past year, DLL’s reputation as an innovative and sector leading leisure operator has continued to grow, and at a challenging time for many in the leisure sector.

Jamie added: “In true DLL style, we are revolutionising training at Club Rhyl and taking our member’s experience to a new level. These three new elements will be in place by February 2025 and combined with the innovative Studio 360 and Club Cycle studio, this will truly put Club Rhyl on the map across the UK.”
