To celebrate their brand new gym at Prestatyn Leisure, DLL is inviting young people in the area to come and try out a range of fun fitness activities for free.

Two community open days will be held at Prestatyn Leisure on Friday 20th February and Saturday 21st February between 9.30am and 3pm.

Across both days, Fitness fans will have the opportunity to take part in a range of fitness taster sessions, including an introduction to the fabulous new gym, which will feature sessions exclusively for teens aged 11 to 17.

They will also have the opportunity to try out the centre’s popular Clip n’ Climb experience, designed to challenge and inspire climbers and iGames – an exciting fusion of sport, gaming and technology, both for aged 4 years upwards.

A range of special offers have been created exclusively for those attending the Community Open days, including a ‘first month free’ offer for junior memberships and other money off vouchers.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of DLL, said: “We believe the opening of this fabulous new gym facility will further establish Prestatyn Leisure’s reputation as THE junior fitness hub in North Wales.  With expert guidance on hand throughout, the two open days will be a fantastic opportunity for young people in the area to come and explore Prestatyn Leisure’s amazing facilities and enjoy some fun, free, fitness activities. The whole team at Prestatyn are really looking forward to seeing everyone for what will be a fabulous experience, and we hope you enjoy seeing what Prestatyn Leisure has to offer.”

In 2024, DLL successfully relaunched its Prestatyn Leisure site as the ultimate junior fitness hub in North Wales, and now this hugely popular facility is being further extended to include the brand new gym, utilising very latest Technogym kit.  Junior members will be able to work out on Technogym’s latest Excite Live cardio equipment, with a fantastic range of treadmills, bikes, and dumbbells, plus the exciting new Technogym bench!

Further to the Prama studio’s success with high school pupils, DLL will now be expanding its timetable, offering instructor led sessions for junior members and local junior sports clubs.  The Prama studio, a ‘first in Wales’ digital fitness experience where sound, lights, floors and walls motivate and guide through a unique training experience, is available on the both days for teens to try out.

Prestatyn Leisure’s brand new fitness suite will also feature exclusive sessions for Foundation Members – a brand new membership category specifically created by DLL for those starting out on their fitness journey and looking for tailored support.  The brand new Foundation programme, including taster sessions will be available at Prestatyn Leisure from 23rd February.
