Message from Jamie Groves, Managing Director, Denbighshire Leisure Ltd:

By now I am sure you will have seen Welsh Government’s latest announcement, that Wales will continue in full lockdown for a further three weeks with a review expected on 29th January.  This means that all of our facilities including our seven leisure centres, SC2 & Ninja TAG, Nova Prestatyn, Nova Play and The Beach Hut indoor and outdoor restaurants, 1891 Bar and Restaurant and the Ruthin Craft Centre, will remain closed for the time being.  Naturally, we can’t help being disappointed in some respects, but are prepared to do whatever it takes to keep our staff and customers safe and well.

Once again, I can only thank you, our loyal customers, for your support and your patience, throughout this difficult experience.  It means so much to everyone in the Denbighshire Leisure team to have you with us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back when things have improved.  Until that time, we will continue to focus on the good things ahead of us, which in addition to the launch of our fantastic Club Nova experience in Prestatyn, our new Group Cycle experience at X20 in St Asaph, and the reopening of the new look Corwen Leisure Centre, will also include some exciting developments for later in the year.

Despite our facilities being closed, the Denbighshire Leisure staff are all remaining upbeat and are working on a variety of tasks.  Some are helping to keep our buildings safe and in good condition, while other members of our team are volunteering to help their communities by delivering PPE and cooking for care homes and for those who are self-isolating.  We are very proud of them all.

As soon as we are able, we will be delighted to open our doors once more.

Until then, please stay safe and well.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director, Denbighshire Leisure Ltd
