Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL) is proud to announce that seven of its leisure sites – successfully took part in the national “Tri Dewi Challenge,” organised by Triathlon Wales, to celebrate the week leading up to St David’s Day.
 
The national challenge began on Monday 23rd February and ran through to St David’s Day, encouraging leisure members across Wales to log as much distance as possible using gym-based distance machines. Participants recorded their activity across equipment such as spin bikes, swimming pools, ski-erg machines, treadmills, and rowing machines . 
 
Canolfan Hamdden Huw Jones Corwen, Ruthin Leisure, Llangollen Leisure, Club Denbigh, X20 St Asaph, Club Rhyl, Nova Prestatyn all worked together and achieved over 1,000km throughout the challenge.
 
Collectively, all seven sites logged an impressive total distance of 1,151.42km across the seven days, demonstrating exceptional community participation and commitment to health and wellbeing. Club Rhyl led the way, recording the highest contribution with 554.62km.
