‘Overwhelming response’ into logo design competition to win tickets to Clip ‘n’ Climb at Prestatyn Leisure
A logo design competition to win tickets to the new Clip n Climb at Prestatyn leisure has seen a huge number of entries from children across Denbighshire.
Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL) is delighted with the overwhelming response to its St David’s Day competition, which invited participants aged 11 and under to design a Welsh-themed logo incorporating the DLL icon.
The competition received a high volume of entries showcasing the creativity and pride of the Welsh community.
Participants were tasked with creating a unique design that reflected the spirit of Wales and its rich Welsh heritage. The standard of submissions was exceptionally high, making it a difficult decision for the judges with their feedback saying ‘designs submitted were imaginative, artistic, and embraced Welsh culture in creative ways’.
After careful consideration, the judges narrowed down the entries to five finalists before ultimately selecting the winner, 11 year old Seth Brahmall from Ysgol Caer Drewyn in Corwen.
As part of his prize, Seth has won four tickets to visit Prestatyn Leisure’s new climbing and bouldering wall facility, offering him a thrilling adventure at one of DLL’s most exciting new attractions.
Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd said “Thank you to everyone who took part in our St David’s competition. We were truly impressed with the creativity and talent demonstrated in all the designs and overwhelmed with the amazing response we have received. I see a future in the arts for a number of these very talented pupils! A huge congratulations to Seth for his outstanding winning design! As a proud Welsh company, it’s important for us to highlight what makes us proud to be Welsh, and the entries we received are a testament to that.”
As part of the prize, Seth’s winning design will be featured as DLL’s Facebook profile picture for the remainder of March. Be sure to keep an eye on the DLL social media pages to see Seth’s design proudly displayed for all to enjoy.
