Successful reopening of the SC2 outdoor Splash Pad as over 300 visitors splash for free
The reopening weekend of the Splash Pad at SC2 was a huge success, with hundreds of people enjoying the sun and outdoor splash area over the weekend.
Over 2,000 visitors enjoyed the outdoor Splash Pad for the opening weekend, including over 600 free tickets given away by DLL to mark the reopening.
After releasing 300 free tickets online to local residents to experience the outdoor SC2 Splash Pad in an exciting ‘taster day’ on Friday 11th July, all the tickets were snapped up in less than 45 minutes.
A further 1800 enjoyed glorious sunshine in the sell-out Splash Pad sessions on Saturday and Sunday, which included another 300 free places aimed at local people.
Splash Pad will be open weekends and holidays until the end of the summer, with free sessions after 5pm daily aimed at local people. Sessions can be booked online at www.SC2rhyl.co.uk.
