Members of the local community will be playing 24 hours of non-stop football to raise money for the Welsh Air Ambulance.

Denbighshire Leisure Ltd is hosting a 24 hour football match in Ruthin to raise money for a chosen charity and is calling on members of the community to join in.

The 24 hour match will take place on Ruthin Leisure Astroturf pitch from 11am on Friday 1st September until 11am Saturday 2nd and the public are encouraged to come to cheer on the teams or join in with the football with a minimum donation of £3 each.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of DLL, said: “Come shower or shine we are looking forward to a full 24 hours of football for a great cause! As one of DLL’s chosen charities, we’re sure you will agree that the Welsh Air Ambulance is vital to our communities, saving countless lives of those who live around us. We hope to see as many people as possible taking part across the 24 hours and coming along to support the teams!”
