Block Bookings

Customers can block book our facilities, if they wish to secure the same slot on a regular basis.

This option is available for our all-weather pitches, 3Gs, sports halls, studios, gymnasiums and squash courts, for a range of activities, including football, netball, badminton and squash.

How to Block Book

Should you wish to secure a block booking, please complete the following form, and ensure you have also read our Terms and Conditions in full before submitting the form.

Priority Block Bookings

Before the start of the Autumn season, we offer existing Block Bookings the opportunity to block book the same day(s) and time(s) again for the forthcoming season. We will contact existing bookings with a deadline to secure the slot, before it is offered to others.

If you qualify for Priority Block Booking, and you wish to change the day and / or time of your slot, you will get first refusal on any other free slots, subject to availability, at your selected Leisure Centre.

Bookings Paying by Monthly Invoice

If you are a club / organisation, you have the option to be invoiced monthly. Invoices can be paid at site, or via BACS (Bank Transfer), but invoices must be paid a month in advance of the booking, or prior to your booking starting, which ever falls first.

If payment for your booking becomes 30 days overdue, you will be given 7 days to make payment. If payment is not received your future bookings will be suspended.

If payment for your booking becomes 60 days overdue, you will be given 7 days to make payment. If payment is not received your future bookings will be cancelled. If your bookings are cancelled, at this point we will refer the matter to our solicitors for resolution. You may incur further charges as a result of this process.

If you wish to cancel a specific date, then we will require a minimum of 7 days’ written notice (via a form or e-mail), or you will still be charged, as per the Terms & Conditions.

Bookings Paying Weekly at Site

Alternatively, block booking payments can be processed weekly at site. Payments must be made at least one week in advance of the booking.

Group Leisure Card & Booking Discount

All bookings are offered the opportunity of a reduced rate on their booking, by purchasing a ‘Group Leisure Card’.

In addition to this, Block Bookings for Clubs / Organisations that book for 10 or more consecutive weeks, may be eligible for an additional 10% discount on their booking when paying by monthly invoice.

Safeguarding Responsibilities.

Denbighshire Leisure Ltd takes its safeguarding responsibilities very seriously, and with this in mind, we require all block bookings to complete a safeguarding form when requesting to hire our facilities.

The form highlights safeguarding requirements, and is particularly applicable to those who coach / instruct persons under the age of 18 years.

As a club / organisation, you will need to have in place a number of necessary documents before activities can be undertaken.  These include public liability insurance, risk assessments, operating procedures and coaching qualifications. You will also need be aware that for all those who coach / teach / instruct persons under the age of 18 years, an enhanced DBS check must have been undertaken.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept bookings from clubs or organisations unable to comply with the above requirements.
