Denbighshire Leisure Ltd is thrilled to announce they have won a silver award at the prestigious Chartered Institute of Public Relations National Awards.

The company which launched during the lockdown in April 2020 was successful in achieving Silver in Best Use of Digital and Social Media.  As many of their facilities were closed for long periods last year during lockdown, Denbighshire Leisure put a huge amount of effort into engaging with their customers and continuing to provide services through social media campaigns and digital channels.

The PRride awards showcases PR teams across Wales and recognises the outstanding work they have been delivering across the UK in the last 24 months.

The awards took place via an online ceremony led by Jason Mohammad, and saw from a number of PR agencies and in-house teams as finalists, including RSPB Cymru, Public Health Wales, Welsh Water, Cardiff University, BBC Wales, BBC Cymru, Careers Wales, Yr Urdd and The Royal Mint.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, said: “We’re delighted to have been successful at these prestigious awards and celebrated on this scale at a national level. The team have worked tirelessly over the last 18 months to keep the public, customers and our staff informed and engaged across multiple platforms, including the creation of new brands and businesses; and the digital transformation of our services. It’s fantastic that all the hard work has been recognised by CIPR. We are extremely proud of our brand, and our marketing and PR function.”
