Local leisure and hospitality business DLL has announced a new partnership with Hope House Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospices, supporting the charity’s vital work across North Wales and helping create more quality moments for children and families facing life-limiting conditions.

A new initiative from DLL is to pick a ‘Charity of the Year’ and the team are excited to share that Hope House Ty Gobaith is DLL’s choice for 2026-27. DLL will support the charity’s fundraising initiatives while using its venues, events and platforms to help shine a light on the incredible work carried out by the charity.

Hope House Children’s Hospices is a charity that gives every local child with a life-threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis.

This new partnership will see DLL work closely with the children’s charity throughout the year, combining fundraising, family activities, events, staff engagement and community initiatives to raise awareness and vital funds for the charity. The partnership will also provide opportunities for families to enjoy memorable experiences, with prizes and respite activities being made available.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of DLL, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be working with Hope House Ty Gobaith and to have the opportunity to support the amazing work they do for children and families across North Wales. For us, this partnership is about raising awareness, fundraising and about creating quality moments, bringing our colleagues, customers and wider community together, and helping more people understand the incredible support this charity provides. We are looking forward to working with the whole Hope House Ty Gobaith team to make the most of those opportunities over the coming year. Through fundraising, shared experiences and community events, DLL and Ty Gobaith hope to make a meaningful difference — helping create more quality moments that matter for children and families when they need them most.”
