Café R in Ruthin Craft Centre and Café 21 at North Wales Bowls Centre, Prestatyn, are reopening this month after a period of closure to undertake extensive refurbishments.

The two Denbighshire eateries reopen this October with full refurbishment, delicious new menus, modern new look, and are bringing a host of new jobs to both areas.

The exciting new theming at both locations includes new branding, furniture, decoration and delicious locally sourced new menus hope to encourage locals back to eating out this Autumn.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of Denbighshire Leisure, said: “We are thrilled to be reopening Café R in Ruthin and launching Café 21, after what has been a difficult few years for the tourism and hospitality industry. We’re committed to investing in Denbighshire and are proud to be bringing more employment opportunities to the local areas as well. Both cafes have been refurbished to the highest standard and we hope it will encourage more people to eat out this autumn and winter.”

Café R has undergone a full refurbishment, including extra seating, new decoration and Denbighshire Leisure Ltd are thrilled to welcome a new Head Chef to the kitchen, whipping up a mouth-watering new menu packed full of locally sourced produce.

Café 21 is the new restaurant at the North Wales Bowls centre, named after the number of points aimed for in a game of indoor bowls. The café has been modernised with a welcoming feel, plenty of seating and a delicious new locally sourced menu.

Both restaurants are dog friendly, with the whole family (including the dog) welcome for Denbighshire Leisure’s signature roast dinners and giant Yorkshire puddings

National coffee brand Costa has once again partnered with Denbighshire Leisure and is being installed in Café R, bringing the much loved taste to the Craft Centre.

Jamie added: “Customers will be delighted with the new look restaurants. The menus will be packed with local produce, and will be complimented by new bars and a selection of locally sourced homemade cakes and pastries. Café R and Café 21 will be the places to be for catching up with friends, lunches out with the family and our famous Sunday roasts. And it doesn’t stop there, in the spring we will be introducing evening dining and new outdoor seating areas at both venues”
