The countdown is on for the Splash Pad to open at SC2 Rhyl, and DLL (Denbighshire Leisure Ltd) is giving away over 500 free tickets to give locals a chance to experience the Splash Pad ahead of Summer.

As part of the DLL ‘Local Loyalty’ offers, the SC2 Splashpad is free this Saturday for the first day of opening as the weather is set to be over 20 degrees. Tickets go live on SC2rhyl.co.uk at 9am this Saturday, 23rd May. With demand likely to be high, customers should book online as the tickets will go on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

The Splash Pad will be open weekends and holidays until the end of the summer, weather dependant, and DLL will be offering further FREE sessions every day, after 4pm, also aimed at local people working during the day. Tickets for the free sessions will be released at 9am each day.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director at DLL, said: “Everyone at DLL is really excited to reopen our Splash Pad this weekend! We have been monitoring the long term weather forecast, and working hard over several weeks to ensure the Splash Pad’s plant, machinery, water features and water quality are ready for the warm weather forecasted for the week ahead. We are bringing back the popular free after 4pm sessions aimed at local people who work during the day, to ensure they don’t miss out on the Splash pad too! The forecast is promising us sun this weekend and we wanted to do something for local residents ahead of the busy summer season, so we’re making over 500 tickets free this Saturday to kick start the bank holiday.  It’s always brilliant to see so many people enjoying the waterpark and now we cannot wait to see residents and visitors enjoying the Splash Pad too, having fun and making memories with friends and family.”

Visit www.sc2rhyl.co.uk for bookings – The Splash Pad booking opens at 9am on Saturday, 23rd May, for the free sessions that day, as well as open for regular bookings throughout the holiday.
